Out of Africa Wildlife Park | February 2014

Valentines Day weekend was spent north of Phoenix in Prescott Valley. Saturday we went to the Out of Africa park that is located in Camp Verde. We went mid day which wasn't the best for lighting and a lot of animals were sleeping through the heat of the day. But here are some of the ones that braved the higher than usual temps :)

First up was Grandma (Sable Antelope) who was on the guided jeep "safari" part of the day.
The zebra's coming to get some snacks.
This cutie is a 1 month old female zebra. Still covered in fuzz and sticking closer to her mama.
 A Gemsbok
This is an endangered Addax. They have been hunted to near extinction for their unique horns.
 That is one relaxed lady.
A hyena sleeping in the shade of a bush.
You can see my reflection in his eye. :)
